Kristen is a first-year Cognitive Science Design and Interaction major with an interest in marketing. Growing up in New Jersey and then moving across the country by herself, Kristen values expanding her comfort zone and meeting new people with diverse backgrounds. She is beyond excited to build upon her AKPsi brotherhood and is looking forward to making lasting memories with her brothers.

 

Professionally, Kristen has always searched for a creative outlet in her profession, which sparked her interest in UI/UX design and product design. Her passion for art and creativity can be seen through her personal projects of becoming a freelance artist, creating book covers and illustrations for authors, and co-founding a sticker shop with her sister. Her experience navigating a small business is what ignited her passion for entrepreneurship, prompting her to delve deeper into the world of business and ultimately leading her to rush Alpha Kappa Psi. Through this journey, Kristen has learned firsthand the potential of transforming passions into viable careers and firmly upholds the belief that one should never lose sight of their passions in the pursuit of what some might deem a "realistic" career.

 

In her free time, when Kristen is not hanging out with her brothers, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, indulging in an unhealthy amount of boba, and going to concerts. Her favorite kind of music is RnB, pop, and indie, and is always looking for new music to curate her Spotify playlists.
