Justin Tan

Justin Tan is a second-year majoring in Business Economics and minoring in Technology, Innovation, & Supply Chain. Growing up in a Burmese Chinese household in the Bay Area, he was exposed to a diverse range of cultures and perspectives. He values the importance of happiness and living life to the fullest. He consistently seeks to spread joy and positivity to others.

Justin is interested in the cross-section of business and tech. He currently plans to pursue a career in consulting or business analytics. This career path exemplifies his ability to combine his analytical skills with his creative thinking. Alpha Kappa Psi has provided Justin with a great professional network to utilize and learn from; he is very grateful for the opportunities he has been given.

In his free time, you can find Justin hitting the trails for a run or playing a pickup game of basketball with friends. He is also an avid chess player and thoroughly enjoys playing board games with his peers. He watches VCT when it is in season. He is constantly working on self-improvement; going to the gym and thought journaling are some of his outlets to relieve stress. Justin's diverse interests and dedication to self-improvement help keep him busy.

While studying at UCSD, Justin has been able to combine his love for academics with his passion for sports and games. He is highly dedicated to his studies and is always looking for ways to improve himself academically, professionally, and personally. He rushed Alpha Kappa Psi because he knew that the people within the fraternity would push him to be successful in all of these aspects. Justin is very thankful for the brotherhood of Alpha Kappa Psi, and cannot wait to thrive with his fellow brothers.
